You are invited to an informal meeting where we will look at how we can make the Manchester Day celebrations more accessible for disabled children/young people and their families, including systems, processes and infrastructure.

We are looking for parents/carers of a child, young person or adult with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), who are willing to provide insight, feedback and suggestions to help make Manchester Day more inclusive for people with SEND and their families.

During this engagement/listening session, we will hear feedback from relevant people including the organisers of Manchester Day parade and related activities, the council’s SEND Team, as well as parents & carers.

We would really appreciate an open and honest discussion so we can establish key messages and themes.
