Update (11 May 2026):
Due to high demand, Dingley’s Promise has added another session for the 13th of May, 12 to 1pm.
The session on the 12th is now fully booked, and there are only a few places left for the 13 May (6-7pm) and 14 May (6-7pm) online sessions.
The Early Years SEND charity, Dingley’s Promise, is inviting parents of children with SEND under 8 to share their Early Years experiences and help shape national policy.
You can join them for one of the following online sessions exploring the government’s new SEND proposals and feeding back directly into the consultation. The sessions will explore the key proposals, break down the consultation, and give families the opportunity to share experiences, discuss concerns, and have your voices heard.
- Tuesday, 12 May, 12–1pm
- Wednesday, 13 May, 6–7pm
- Thursday, 14 May, 6–7pm

Other Ways to Get Involved
Dingley’s Promise is also hosting a number of face-to-face engagement events for parents and carers of children with SEND under 8 years of age, including one in Manchester.

If you can’t attend any of the above events, you can still have your say through the national consultation: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/send-reform-putting-children-and-young-people-first
In fact, we encourage everyone to individually respond to the consultation even if you have attended a SEND Reform engagement event before.
We will also share other opportunities to provide feedback on the Schools White Paper and/or SEND Reform whenever we can. Please follow us on social media for future announcements.
About the Organisers
