Dingley’s Promise is hosting a series of face-to-face engagement events for parents and carers of children with SEND under 8 years of age, between April 20th and May 14th. These sessions will explore the key proposals in the Schools White Paper, break down the SEND Reform consultation questions, and provide families with the opportunity to share their experiences and have their voices heard.
Our local event for Manchester is scheduled on Monday, the 27th of April and parents/carers from neighbouring regions are also invited to join.
Venue: Townhouse Manchester Hotel
Date/Time: Monday 27th April 2026, 10:00am – 12.00pm (Registration starts from 09:30am)

Other Ways to Get Involved
Dingley’s Promise is also hosting a number of online engagement events for parents and carers of children with SEND under 8 years of age.

If you can’t attend any of the above events, you can still have your say through the national consultation: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/send-reform-putting-children-and-young-people-first
In fact, we encourage everyone to individually respond to the consultation even if you have attended a SEND Reform engagement event before.
We will also share other opportunities to provide feedback on the Schools White Paper and/or SEND Reform whenever we can. Please follow us on social media for future announcements.
