SUMMARY:Understanding Neurodiversity and Wellbeing (Central Manchester)
DESCRIPTION:This session is aimed at parents/carers of PRIMARY and SECONDARY school-aged children. *Other sessions in North and South Manchester are available also* \nThis workshop is led by senior mental health professionals working in the Social Communication Pathway and will provide the opportunity to: \nThis session will include: \n\nDevelop your understanding of Neurodiversity.\nConsider what being neurodivergent might mean for your child/young person.\nThink about factors that might impact on wellbeing for neurodivergent people.\nLearn about approaches to support wellbeing and how to access further help.\nHear about the experiences of other families and share your own experiences if you wish.\n\nBiscuits\, tea and coffee will be provided. However\, lunch isn’t provided so please make sure to bring your own food for the lunch break. \nIf you need an interpreter to access the session\, please email ManchesterSCP.Workshops@mft.nhs.uk \nwith at least a week’s notice before the session.
