You are invited to an informal meeting where Manchester City Council will be listening to parents and carers, to look at the barriers relating to housing for disabled children/young people and their families, including systems, processes and infrastructure.

We are looking for parents/carers who have a child, young person or adult with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) that has lived experience of the council housing system.

During this engagement/listening session, we will hear feedback from relevant people including housing staff, the council’s SEND Team, and parents & carers.

We would really appreciate an open and honest discussion so we can establish key messages and themes.

Please note that this session will be about feeding into improvement of the council housing service rather than solving individual issues about the support you receive.
