“Horrible Science: Cosmic Chaos” at the Science and Industry Museum

Join us at the Science and Industry Museum for a family-friendly visit to their “Horrible Science: Cosmic Chaos” interactive exhibition.

“Blast off into the solar system and embark on a cosmic adventure guided by familiar characters from the brand-new BBC Horrible Science TV series.

Walk in the shoes of astronauts and discover far-off worlds, dance on an alien disco planet and journey through the depths of space to uncover the secrets of our universe.”

Entry to the exhibition will be between 3 to 3:15pm, and you can stay for as long as you like once inside. Please note that paying members of the public will also have access to the exhibition during our stay.

Siblings without SEND and other carers are also welcome to join.

Please note that you’re responsible for your own children’s safety during the session.

There’s plenty more to do at the Science and Industry Museum!

The museum also has its own holiday programme of activities happening throughout the day that everyone is free to attend!

Events that are part of the SEND Community Offer are exclusively for families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) living in the city of Manchester, i.e. those who live in an area covered by Manchester City Council.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
