This group for the summer term is now full and they are currently not accepting new participants.

We will post an announcement and the SCS-LDA team will add info on their padlet when future Creative Arts Groups become available.

The CAMHS Specialist Community Service – Learning Disabilities and Autism (SCS-LDA) Team will be running a 6-week Creative Arts Group for neurodivergent young people, starting on Tuesday, the 2nd June, and lasting until the 7th of July 2026.

This is a pilot offer and is not a stand-alone mental health intervention.

The group is for autistic young people (or those waiting assessment), aged 11-16, who are in mainstream education.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
