Co-op Academy Manchester is hosting us for monthly SEND Coffee Mornings as part of the Neurodiversity in Schools project.

These informal sessions are for parents and carers with neurodivergent* children and young people currently going to this school.

The coffee mornings aim to:

  • Support parents and carers of children with SEND by connecting them to Manchester Parent Carer Forum and other families;
  • Share feedback about what’s going well and what could be even better;
  • Offer a chance to hear about and help shape developments from the SEND offer at Co-op Academy Manchester.

* Neurodivergent is an umbrella term for anyone with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD or dyspraxia), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), dyslexia, learning disability, Tourette’s Syndrome, and any other conditions/differences that are not considered ‘neurotypical’.

This flyer for the SEND Coffee Mornings that will be held monthly at the Co-op Academy Manchester shows details of the events printed on top of overlapping rectangles in vibrant colours.
