SEND-Friendly Christmas Party

We invite Manchester’s SEND families to join us for an inclusive, family-friendly festive celebration at Moss Side Millenium Powerhouse on Sunday, 18 December, 2-4pm.

There will be loads of fun stuff for the kids, including:

  • Colouring sheets
  • DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Activities
    • Festive baubles
    • Gingerbread – Eat there or take home!
    • Mugs
    • Plates
    • Snow globes
    • Wooden lanterns
  • Scratch art
  • Bouncers
  • Giant floor games
  • Twiddles (ribbons for those who like to stim)
  • Plus: An opportunity to join our annual Christmas card design contest!

We will also be running a relaxed screening of a Christmas-themed movie (title to be announced).

There will be snacks and refreshments aplenty for all families to enjoy.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
