Come and join us this autumn half-term for an inclusive, SEND-friendly Halloween celebration at Longford Park Athletics Stadium.
There will be loads of unique, quirky, all-ability bicycles and tricycles available at the track. Cycling novices and non-cyclists need not worry, as our host, Simply Cycling, has a huge number of adapted bicycles, trikes, hand cycles, wheelchair-accessible bikes, tandems and side-by-sides to suit all abilities – we’re sure you’ll find something there that will suit your ability and comfort level!
We will also set up a snack-decorating table, where kids can have fun decorating their cupcakes and cookies. There will be Halloween-themed sheets and pumpkins to colour and draw on, for those who like arts and crafts.
We’ll have a table of light snacks, nibbles and refreshments – all individually wrapped, for Covid safety.
Plus… all the kids will have treat bags to take home! 🙂
Costume or fancy dress optional but encouraged. ^_^
Please note that you’re responsible for your own children’s safety during the session.
This event is FREE to members of Manchester Parent Carer Forum. If you are not yet registered with us, please do so by visiting our Membership page. Membership is free to Manchester parent-carers of children & young people with SEND.
There will also be an opportunity to meet some local SEND services and support groups. (to be announced)
