This is an online interactive sensory storytelling session for children with additional needs, telling the story of Peter Rabbit.
Everyone will receive your own free box of equipment through the post to join in with the session. Please register with your address to receive equipment ASAP! The registration link will be sent upon booking.
The session will be live on Tuesday, September 1st, at 10am but will be recorded and the link for the recording will be sent out to everyone who registers so that you can watch and take part in the session at a time to suit.
All sessions are free for Manchester families but booking is required.
(If you’ve previously booked for the Twinkleboost Explorers outdoor sessions, you will already have received an email about this online session. You don’t need to book again.)
More Information About the Session
Twinkleboost Explorers are led by a Twinkleboost Speech and Language Therapy Assistant and a Therapeutic Forest School Leader.
Some of you will have already taken part in the fun Twinkleboost outdoor classes earlier this month, engaging in lots of fun nature activities to develop communication skills and support wellbeing.
This online session is to supplement those sessions as well as to allow those who missed out a chance to experience Twinkleboost Explorers from the comfort of home.
Twinkleboost and The Therapeutic Forest are staffed by Specialist staff trained in supporting children with a variety of needs and extensive experience working with children with SEND.
