Here is a message from Tammy, our yoga instructor:

So happy that we are able restart this group in person from 17th September after such a long break!

We will be socially distanced and handwash & sanitisers are provided. Due to Covid-19, please bring your own mat if possible and/or a blanket. plus any other props you might have. I respectfully ask that you stay at home if you display any Covid-19 symptoms or if you are clinically vulnerable. If you would like any video support and guidance, please let Tammy @yogaforallmanchester know.

This is a gentle, rejuvenating yoga class, specifically held for parents & carers of those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The sessions are led by Tammy (Yoga for All Manchester), a parent-carer who is also trained in yoga and yoga nidra and is fully insured.

Classes are designed to include breath awareness, meditation techniques and physical postures to help provide carers some emotional, mental and physical resilience to help cope with the challenges involved with caring, as well as allowing some valuable time to recharge. Every session ends with a relaxation period.

The class is suitable for both absolute beginners and those who have previously practiced. This is a non-judgemental space, open to all, where you are free to practice as much or as little as you like.

Please wear comfortable loose or stretchy clothes (no jeans!). No need for fancy “yoga clothes” – jogging bottoms or leggings will be fine.
