SUMMARY:Early Years Inclusion Parent/Carer Training (Pilot)
DESCRIPTION:We\, together with Rodney House Outreach Service for the Early Years (RHOSEY)\, are currently developing an in-person parent/carer training programme to supplement the Dingley’s Promise Early Years Inclusion project that offers online training for Manchester’s Early Years practitioners\, settings and parents/carers. \nBy joining this pilot session\, you will help us improve the structure of the training before we roll it out to our wider membership\, while also benefiting from the knowledge yourself. \nTrainees will receive a certificate upon completion* of the training courses. \n \n* You will receive certificate upon completion of a training module within the Dingley’s Promise training portal. \nAgenda for the Day:\n\nWelcome and RefreshmentsThis includes an early lunch\, while we wait for everyone to arrive and settle in.\nIntroductionWe will share background info about the Dingley’s Promise Early Years Inclusion Programme\, as well as our aims for the parent/carer in-person training sessions.\nSelf-Led TrainingLearners may choose either of the following options:\n\nSelf-led Online Training (Recommended) : You can access the training online on your own device (laptop/ tablet/ smartphone) to learn at your own pace.\nGroup Learning : This is an opportunity to access the training as a group by following the training projected onto the big screen in the room.
