SUMMARY:Understanding and Working with the Education System (South Manchester): Aimed at PRIMARY School aged Children.
DESCRIPTION:This session is aimed at parents/carers of PRIMARY school aged children.   \n*Other sessions in Central and North Manchester are available also* \nIt will be delivered by a One Education Educational Psychologist in conjunction with SENDIASS and Manchester Parent Carer Forum. \nThis session will include: \n\nWhat are Special Educational Needs (SEN) and how can they be met in school?\nWhat are schools and Further Education settings required to provide?\nHow can you ensure your child’s needs are being met?\nWhat is available in Manchester to children and families?\nWho can provide advice and support?\n\nThere will be opportunities for questions and discussion. \n \nBiscuits\, tea and coffee will be provided. \nIf you need an interpreter to access the session\, please email ManchesterSCP.Workshops@mft.nhs.uk \nwith at least a week’s notice before the session.
