About Our Partners
The Manchester Parent Champions are a group of parents who have experienced and/or know about the range of services and support available through the Local Offer. They are well-placed to tell other parents/carers about the SEND Local Offer and the help and support that’s out there for our families.
Raising Awareness on Neurodivergent Individuals (RANi) is a parent/carer-led organisation that offers support groups, social gatherings, SEND awareness & advocacy, and more. They believe in “empowering families through community, education, and representation — ensuring no parent ever feels alone on their journey.”

About Carers Week
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face, and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.
It is celebrated on 9-15 June this year and the theme is “Caring About Equality” – calling for an equal society where carers are truly valued, recognised and supported.
