SUMMARY:EHCP Moderation - Parent Panel
DESCRIPTION:On this day\, parents and carers will be reviewing some (anonymised) Education\, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to ensure their quality and ensure that the voice of the child/ young person and their family is the “golden thread” that runs through the plans. \nThis parent panel moderation is a key activity in improving the overall quality of plans\, with feedback being shared to the EHCP Team manager and the SEND Board as an avenue for learning on top of improving the individual plans that have been reviewed. \nIn this session\, we will also look at some reforms being proposed by the government to improve EHC Plans. \nWould you like to get involved?\nIf you are already part of the parent panel\, you would already have received an email inviting you to join this session. Please check your inbox (or your spam folder if the email isn’t in your inbox) then let us know ASAP if you want to join this session\, as we only have a limited number of places. \nIf you are not already in the panel but would like to be considered for future EHCP moderation sessions\, please send us a message and we will add you to the waiting list of parents and carers that will be contacted should new places open up.
