SUMMARY:Mental Health Act – Your Rights as a Parent or a Child
DESCRIPTION:This session will be delivered by students from The University of Law and is FREE to book for parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) living in the city of Manchester. \nThis session will consider what will happen if you or a family member are detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. It will look at what rights you would be allowed and the appeal process.
