If you have already booked for some of our summer events, please wait until the second batch of tickets are released on Wednesday, 19th of August, before requesting tickets for this event.
This is to give a chance to other families who haven’t been to other activities yet.
TICKET RELEASE SCHEDULE:
- Monday, 17 August, 3pm: For families who haven’t attended any MPCF Summer 2026 event yet
- Wednesday, 19 August, 6pm: Open to all city of Manchester residents who have deaf, disabled or neurodivergent children or young people
This Relaxed Cinema Screening of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day“ includes cinema tickets to Cineworld Didsbury and Munch Boxes (sweet popcorn, orange Fruit Shoot, Milky Way Magic Stars – while supplies last).
It is rated 12A in the UK.
Tickets are exclusively for families of deaf, disabled and neurodivergent children living in the city of Manchester (i.e., in an area covered by Manchester City Council). Siblings without SEND are welcome to join.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You will remain responsible for your family’s safety and well-being during the cinema session. Please ensure that your children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the screening.
- You need to accept the cinema’s terms of entry before booking your family’s places. Please click the link above to read the general terms, then read and accept the specific terms listed on the booking form.
- Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the film, as the movie will start promptly at 2pm.
What makes it SEND-Friendly?
Manchester Parent Carer Forum (MPCF) is committed to making the event as welcoming and comfortable as possible. You can expect:
- This event is exclusive to families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) aged 0 – 25 years.
- Peace of Mind – All MPCF staff and volunteers have lived experience of SEND so you can rest assured that there will be a level of empathy and understanding with any needs or quirks that may arise on the day. Please speak to a member of the team if you have a request to make for a better experience.
- A Quieter Experience – The number of attendees will be less than the cinema’s maximum capacity.
- There are wheelchair and buggy spaces available at the front of the cinema.
