DESCRIPTION:The SEND Local Offer Drop-ins are a great way for parents & carers of children or young people with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) to find relevant information and support. Friendly and informal\, please feel free to share your stories and ask questions. \nThe drop-ins are usually attended by the following organisations\, subject to their availability: \n\n\nManchester Parent Carer Forum\nWe’ll be on hand to listen to your stories and questions. We will try to help and signpost you to the relevant services and organisations who may be able to give you expert advice and support. \nThe SPACE Team will also be there to speak to you about the wonderful parent/carer support group that they regularly run.\n\nLocal Offer Engagement Team\nManchester City Council’s Local Offer team organises and hosts these drop-ins. You can talk to them about what’s going on in and around Manchester\, including how to find important SEND information via the Local Offer.\n\nEarly Help Central\n\n\n“About Me” Person-Centred Profiles\nThe About Me (AM) document is a person-centred profile that will show professionals across Education\, Health and Social Care a snapshot of your child and the kind of support that they need in order to thrive. For those with more complex needs\, there is a “More About Me” (MAM) section at the back that can contain even more information that may be of benefit.\n\nBright Futures Family Support Service\n\n\nGreater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) / Travel Training (Phil Samphire)\n\n\nManchester Parent Champions\n\n\nOne Education (Educational Psychologists)\nEducational psychologists from One Education will be doing 30-minute one-to-one sessions via : \n\n10-10:30am\n10:30-11am\n11-11:30am\n11:30am-12pm\n\nPlease reserve your exclusive time slot through the button below:.fusion-button.button-1 {border-radius:2px;}Reserve your 30-minute session\n\nPure Innovations\n\n\nRodney House Outreach Service for Early Years (RHOSEY)\n\n\nShort Breaks team\n\n\nSENDIASS (SEND Information\, Advice and Support Service) team\n\n\n×The drop-ins normally happen on a rotating basis across North\, Central and South Manchester. \nFace-to-face sessions have resumed starting in February 2022.
