Sacred Heart Family Hub invites parents and carers to their new SEND Peer Support sessions due to start this week!

In this first session, they have invited various parent-led support groups and organisations – including MPCF, the Parent Champions, and Dare 2 b Different – as well as Manchester’s Autism Navigator.

Come along to speak with us, find out how we can support your family, and learn about the many different parent support groups and SEND organisations that we have here in Manchester.

The Hub’s Outreach Worker, Rehena (a fellow parent-carer), will also be available for peer-to-peer support and to speak about Sacred Heart’s outreach offer.

No need to book; just drop in. You can bring along children if needed.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
