DESCRIPTION:Join us and Manchester’s SEND Information\, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) for a face-to-face session where we will together explore the key proposals in the Schools White Paper and the SEND Reform consultation questions\, and provide parents and carers with the opportunity to share your experiences of the SEND system. \nWe hope that this event will arm you with relevant knowledge to respond to the government consultation with confidence\, as well as allowing us to gather more voices that will help inform our organisational response to it. \nLunch will be provided so please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking your place. \n.fusion-button.button-1 {border-radius:2px;}Book NowOther Ways to Get Involved\nThe national children’s charity\, Dingley’s Promise\, is also hosting a number of online engagement events for parents and carers of children with SEND under 8 years of age. \n \nIf you can’t attend this or any of the above events\, you can still have your say through the national consultation: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/send-reform-putting-children-and-young-people-first \nIn fact\, we encourage everyone to individually respond to the consultation even if you have attended a SEND Reform engagement event before. \nWe will share more opportunities to provide feedback on the Schools White Paper and/or SEND Reform whenever we can.
