DESCRIPTION:Let’s go for a visit to the festive lights trail at Mayfield Park! Join us for a walk around the park\, taking in the beautiful scenery along the Twilight Trail. \n\nA member of the MPCF team will welcome you at the entrance between 4:30 to 4:55pm.\nEntrance timings are strict but\, once inside\, you can stay for as long as you like.\nEach participant will receive a snack pack and a drink to enjoy after the trail. The quickest route will then be selected. \nParking \nThere are 3 car parks close by\, these are located on Baring Street and Buxton Street. \nWhat is The Twilight Trail?\nThe Twilight Trail is an enchanting\, immersive light and sound show\, transforming Mayfield Park into a dazzling city centre winter escape. Experience the park after dark and light up the night with us.\n\nThere will be music playing throughout\, soundtracked by La Discothèque. \nPlease scroll down to the bottom of this page (or click this link) for a video showing the trail. \n\nIs this an exclusive booking?\nWhile we have booked plenty of tickets to help ensure that most attendees for this time slot (4:30pm start time) are families of children and young people with SEND\, please note that this is NOT an exclusive booking for our families. \nHowever\, the park and the trail are quite accessible from our experience\, so we hope that everyone enjoys the session nonetheless. 🙂 \nWho is The Twilight Trail suitable for?\nThe immersive light show is designed for all ages\, from families\, couples\, groups\, and everyone in between. \nHow long does it take to experience The Twilight Trail?\nIt takes approximately 30 mins to walk around the light show but you are welcome to enjoy it at your own pace. \nGuests are welcome to stay as long as they wish. \nCan I bring my own food and drink?\n\nUnfortunately\, food and drink are not permitted in the venue. We will be handing you food packs at the entrance but please keep them in your bag until after you exit the trail.\n\nThere are also bars and food vendors available at Freight Island (the venue’s partners\, which is located right by the park) for a post-light show meal & drink.\n\n\nWe unfortunately have no say on this policy.\nAre bikes allowed in the park?\n\nUnfortunately\, bicycles are NOT allowed at the event.\n\n\nBuggies and wheelchairs are allowed.\nWhat should I wear?\n\nThe Twilight Trail takes place outdoors and you may need to queue on busy days. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for winter weather.\n\nThe organisers reserve the right to refuse inappropriately clothed patrons’ access.\n\n\nWe unfortunately have no say on this policy.\nWhat are the ground conditions like?\n\nThe ground conditions are suitable for wheelchair users.
