The workshop is for parents and carers of children and young people from pre-school years, up to 18 years of age.
This workshop is led by a Specialist Occupational Therapist working in the Mcr ND needs-led offer and will provide the opportunity to:
- develop your understanding of the sensory system.
- consider how neurodivergent individuals may experience sensory differences.
- help you to think about how this can affect everyday life activities
- will explore strategies to consider when offering support.
Important Notes:
Booking is essential. The MS Teams link to join the workshop will be sent to you by email after booking.
The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) has kindly opened the workshops to all City of Manchester parents and carers (Manchester postcode) or those who have children who are registered with a Manchester GP, as part of the Mcr ND needs-led offer.
Your child does NOT have to have a formal diagnosis for parents/carers to access this workshop. If you are neurocurious and want to learn more about how you can support children or young people who are or may be neurodivergent then these workshops are for you!
The workshop is for parents and carers of children and young people from pre-school years, up to 18yrs of age.
