DESCRIPTION:We invite Manchester’s SEND families to join us for an inclusive\, family-friendly festive celebration at Moss Side Millenium Powerhouse on Saturday\, 30 November\, from 2pm. \nThere will be loads of fun stuff for the kids\, including: \n\nArts and Crafts\nPool (Pocket billiards)\nTable football\nTwiddles (ribbons for those who like to stim)\nRelaxed screening of a festive-themed movie (title to be announced).\nPlus: An opportunity to join our annual Christmas card design contest!\n\nThere will be snacks and refreshments aplenty for all to enjoy. \n——— \nPlease note that you are responsible for your own children’s safety at all times during the session. \n——— \nThis event is free to book for families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) who live in the city of Manchester. #SENDCommunityOffer \n.fusion-button.button-1 {border-radius:2px;}Book NowWhat makes it SEND-Friendly?\nManchester Parent Carer Forum (MPCF) is committed to making the event as welcoming and comfortable as possible. You can expect: \n\nThis event is exclusive to families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) aged 0 – 25 years.\nPeace of Mind – All MPCF staff and volunteers have lived experience of SEND so you can rest assured that there will be a level of empathy and understanding with any needs or quirks that may arise on the day. Please speak to a member of the team if you have a request to make for a better experience.\nA Quieter Experience – We will reduce the volume of music and/or the film\, if needed. We can also keep some of lights on at the cinema room if required.\nStep-free Access – Wheelchair and buggy users can use the centre’s lift to get to our upstairs events space.\nWider Arrival Window – No need to rush and bustle.
