SENDIASS Website Parent Working Party

SENDIASS (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service) is looking to meet a group of parents to view a demo of their new website.

The invite below is for the first session, where we will just take a look at the website and give comments/suggestions. At the end of the session, they will ask attendees if we would like to be part of the “working party” that will meet occasionally to help shape the SENDIASS website until it’s ready to be launched.

We would appreciate if fellow parents of children & young people with SEND could join the forum in this meeting. #ParentPower #WorkingTogether #CoProduction

Lunch and transport can be provided. Please contact us to book your place and inform us of dietary and/or transport requirements.

If you can’t make it but would like to share us your thoughts, please send us a message by email or via Facebook. The more parents can share their ideas and requests, the more we can ensure that the SENDIASS website becomes useful to families in Manchester.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
