Co-op Academy Manchester is hosting us for monthly SEND Coffee Mornings as part of the Autism in Schools project.
These informal sessions are for parents and carers with neurodivergent children and young people currently going to this school.
The coffee mornings aim to:
- Support parents and carers of children with SEND by connecting them to Manchester Parent Carer Forum and other families;
- Share feedback about what’s going well and what could be even better;
- Offer a chance to hear about and help shape developments from the SEND offer at Co-op Academy Manchester.
Thank you to those that attended this morning’s Co-op Academy Manchester SEND Coffee morning as part of Manchester Parent Carer Forum AIS Project.We chatted about common trends in school, zones of regulation, and fidget aids that don’t distract . The Head, the SENCO and the SEND Governor all popped in to see us .Next month, we will be looking at About Me – one page profiles and any parent training parents want that we can help with
