The Birches Specialist Support School is offering summer play spaces over the coming weeks. This is for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) aged 0 to 18 years.
The Birches has 45-minute play slots in two areas:
- The slide playground with trim trail and forest area
- The Meerkats playground and swings
There’ll be juice, milk cartons and biscuits, and access to toilets.
Each area will be manned by a Teaching Assistant who can help to deal with any problems, but you are responsible for your children and must stay with them. For your safety at this time, both areas will be cleaned down each time after use.
Sessions are available Tuesday 21st July to Monday 3rd August, between 10am-2pm, Monday to Fridays.
There are 80 slots in total, which are free and for Birches families and SEND families in the city of Manchester. So that as many families as possible can enjoy this activity, we’re limiting the number of sessions you can book.
To book and for any questions – call 0161 234 1946.
