We are very pleased to announce that our weekly yoga sessions for SEND parents and carers in Manchester are back!

Please see the following message from Tammy, our lovely instructor from Yoga for All Manchester:

So happy to be able to offer this again together with Manchester Parent Carer Forum after such a long break: FREE YOGA GROUP for PARENT CARERS of young people with additional needs and/or lifelong disabilities. A much needed space to take time out from to do lists and just be!

This will be a very gentle, relaxing session with meditation and mindful movements. This friendly group is welcoming to all. You don’t need to have any previous experience of yoga and you’re welcome to take part in as little or as much as you like. I’m a parent carer myself- I know what it’s like when you’ve had sleepless nights. If you want to lie down for an hour- that’s fine! All I ask is that you wear comfortable clothes- no fancy ‘yoga clothes’ needed but no jeans or tight fitting clothes-and bring your own mat and/or blanket due to COVID. Also, could you bring an old tie or long scarf.

We will be spaced out and there will be hand sanitizers and soap available.

Thursday at 11am at St Chad’s Community Hall, Ladybarn.

DM me if interested 😊Really looking forward to seeing you 💜🙏

In addition to the above, we will be limiting the sessions to at most 6 attendees, in accordance with the latest coronavirus guidelines.

The next session is tomorrow, 24 September. Booking is required. Please book via the Eventbrite link or by messaging Tammy.

Hope to see you soon! 🙂
