This festive season, we are again developing a virtual card app on our website, which people can use to send free virtual festive cards created by the SEND community to family and friends.
Can You Help?
To be able to do this, we want YOUR help for the cover designs of our festive cards!
Please support our project by submitting some homemade artworks that we can use as a cover for the virtual cards.
Entries can be sent by:
- posting a photo of your or your deaf, disabled or neurodivergent child’s/ young person’s design at https://facebook.com/mpcfinfo;
- posting it on Instagram and tagging us @manchesterparentcarerforum (please set it to public so we can see);
- sending it to us via email or WhatsApp; or
- bringing the design at the November Local Offer Drop-in.
Please let us know of your child’s/ young person’s age when you send their design.
Card Design Competition
Once you’ve shared your design, it will show up on either our Facebook Community page or on our Instagram Tags. For those who send designs to us in person, via email or WhatsApp, we will post the artwork on social media on your behalf.
We will have three categories for this year’s competition:
- Younger Children : Deaf, disabled or neurodivergent children aged 11 and below.
- Older Children and Young People : Deaf, disabled or neurodivergent children and young people aged 12 and up.
- Parents, Carers, and Siblings : Any other family members of deaf, disabled or neurodivergent children.
The best two entries for each category will be selected by a panel of independent judges.
Submissions will be accepted until 12pm on Saturday, 22 November 2025.
Winning designs will be used for our virtual festive cards. You/ your child will be acknowledged in the cards’ cover image as well as on our website and social media, and winners will be given a £10 Asda or Amazon voucher.
We are pleased to announce that, thanks to the SEND Local Offer, we can now print a few copies of the winning card designs. 🙂
The cards will be given away at the December Local Offer Drop-in and, while supplies last, at some of the December SEND Community Offer events and meetings.
