Early intervention and support are known to improve outcomes for neurodivergent children and their families, which is why we are keen to develop a ‘database’ of services that are available for families following early intervention.
We have formed a new steering group with partners from Health, Education and the voluntary sector to start to map the services that are available for children and families at this critical time of development – and we need your help!
In this session, we will:
- Explore accessible ways to share the information that we have mapped. We have had some early discussions about what this platform could look like and we’re interested to find out if our initial ideas would work for you as parents. Here is an example of the kind of image we are thinking of using, we would have embedded links within the image, which would then take you to the relevant information:
- Discuss the support and services that are needed for 2-3 year old children with emerging neurodevelopmental differences. We want to hear what support you had when your child was this age and what support would have been helpful.
Agenda for the Day:
- 10:30-11:45 Accessible ways to share information
- 11:45-12:15 Working Lunch
- 12:15-13:30 Support needed by families of 2-3 year olds
You are welcome to stay for the whole event or come to one particular part that interests you.
