Manchester City Council will soon be running training sessions for their staff to update them on the Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) reforms.

In preparation for those, they would like to have a short online discussion with parents & carers about what key messages we want to get across during the training. We would like to invite you join us at the meeting and share your views about SEND and/or the caring role?

The informal meeting will be on Friday, 9th October, 10-11am.
It will be held via Google Meet. (The meeting link will be sent to you via email.)

In addition to this preparation session, the council would also like to have parent/carer representation at the actual training sessions, which will be happening in late October/ early November. The purpose is to give staff an idea of how working in co-production with families makes a difference, from a parent/carer perspective.
