One-to-One Sessions with an Educational Psychologist

The SEND Local Offer Drop-in is held monthly for the benefit of parents/carers of children or young people with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) who are looking to find information and support.

Educational psychologists from One Education normally join these drop-ins to speak with parents about issues or concerns that they may have with regards to their child’s education. One Education is unfortunately unable to join the April 2023 drop-in so we are instead running these free one-to-one virtual appointments (via MS Teams) as a replacement.

The one-to-one sessions will be held every 30 minutes between 10am to 12pm on Monday, 27 March 2023:

  • 10-10:30am
  • 10:30-11am
  • 11-11:30am
  • 11:30am-12pm

This offer is exclusive to parents/carers of a child or young person with SEND who either lives in Manchester or goes to a Manchester-based school.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
