Southern Cross Autism in Schools Parent/Carer Group Session

Do you have a neurodivergent (ND) child or young person who goes to Southern Cross School?

If you do, we’d love for you to join us on at this parent group session – a great chance to meet other parents/carers of ND children, share your experiences of school, hear about the Autism in Schools project, and find out about support that may be available for your family.

We will also be joined by Jade and Sam from Mindful Me, which offers yoga and mindfulness sessions for children and young people, as well as a monthly SEND advice and support drop-in service in the Family Hub.

The session is open to all parents and carers of autistic and ND pupils who go to Southern Cross, whether they have a formal diagnosis or not. No need to book; just drop in! ☕🥐🗣️

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
