Co-delivered by RHOSEY and Early Years SCP, this workshop shares practical ideas you can try at home to support sensory regulation for children with social communication differences.
It aims to improve parental and child wellbeing through play. We will explore ways to develop shared interests and joint attention so you can enjoy ‘play’ together.
The workshop is for parents and carers of children at pre-school years, aged 2 to 5 years.
Important Notes:
Booking is essential. The MS Teams link to join the workshop will be sent to you by email after booking.
As a Social Communication Pathway workshop, this session is offered to parents and carers of children or young people who are either currently on the SCP waiting list for an autism assessment or have received a formal diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition from Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
This can be from any of the three Social Communication Pathway (SCP) teams – South Manchester (Carol Kendrick Centre), Central Manchester (The Powerhouse/ Winnicott Centre), and North Manchester (The Powerhouse/The Bridge).
