Baby Week is an annual six-day programme that is filled with FREE, fun activities and events that are designed to support your child’s development from conception to 2 years old.

It is celebrated this year from the 8th to the 13th of July 2024.

From play sessions to first aid courses for parents, swimming, baby massage, and family fun days at parks all over Manchester… and much more, there’s something for everyone!

The events were carefully designed to help your child learn, all whilst having a blast! Baby Week is city-wide, with events taking place in Manchester’s cultural venues, leisure centres, your local Sure Start Children’s Centres and Family Hubs, finishing with Family Fun Days in parks on Saturday.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
