Yoga for All Manchester aims to gather together people who wish to practice yoga, allowing everyone to come together through community events in parks and community centres.

Tammy, who runs the sessions, says, “As a parent carer myself to my autistic son I have found yoga so beneficial in helping to cope with the challenges faced: by developing awareness and acceptance of outward aspects of self such as emotions, mind and senses and non-attachment to a particular state, yoga has brought me an incredible sense of balance, peace and clarity. I would love to offer an introduction to yoga to others- it may help.”

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
