Over the past few months, we have been working with multi-agency teams from Manchester City Council (e.g., Workforce Learning & Development, Social Care, Local Offer) to develop a training programme for social workers, with the hope that it will help them be better able to support families of children & young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

We want to incorporate some video messages from parents/carers into the training, so that social workers can hear directly from us – good examples of working with families, what reasonable adjustments should be made when they work with us, key messages we want them to know, etc.

We are looking for volunteer parents & carers to create a short 2- to 3-minute video that we can add to the training. Please complete the form below if you wish to get involved.
