Moving from primary to secondary school is an important life event and can be a positive and exciting time. Yet some children require additional support. Children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) often find transition more challenging than their peers.

This workshop is for parents/carers who wish to find out how to support their children to have a successful transition to high school.

The webinar is FREE to attend for parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) who live in the city of Manchester.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
