This Relaxed Cinema Screening of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps includes cinema tickets to Cineworld Didsbury and munch boxes (popcorn, drink, sweet).

The movie is about a family of heroes, the Fantastic Four, who must defend earth from a ravenous space being called Galactus and his enigmatic herald, Silver Surfer. It is rated 12A in the UK.

Tickets are available free of charge for families of deaf, disabled and neurodivergent children living in the city of Manchester (i.e., in an area covered by Manchester City Council). Siblings without SEND are welcome to join.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • You will remain responsible for your family’s safety and well-being during the cinema session. Please ensure that your children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the screening.
  • You need to accept the cinema’s terms of entry before booking your family’s places. Please click the link above to read the general terms, then read and accept the specific terms listed on the booking form.

What makes it SEND-Friendly?

Manchester Parent Carer Forum (MPCF) is committed to making the event as welcoming and comfortable as possible. You can expect:

  • This event is exclusive to families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) aged 0 – 25 years.
  • Peace of Mind – All MPCF staff and volunteers have lived experience of SEND so you can rest assured that there will be a level of empathy and understanding with any needs or quirks that may arise on the day. Please speak to a member of the team if you have a request to make for a better experience.
  • A Quieter Experience – The number of attendees will be less than the cinema’s maximum capacity.
  • There are wheelchair and buggy spaces available at the front of the cinema.
