The SEND Community Offer is part of the overall Short Breaks Offer and is available to all families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) in Manchester.

The Community Offer is co-produced with families and includes a wide range of fun, accessible family activities. It runs across the year but mainly throughout the school holidays.

The SEND Community Offer enables families to meet other families and increase their support and networks. Often taking place in universal settings, it can be a way to increase families’ confidence in accessing these places beyond the SEND sessions available.

Please visit the SEND Local Offer website or subscribe to the Local Offer Newsletter to find out about the different activities available through the SEND Community Offer.

To learn more about Short Breaks, please visit the this info page or read the city council’s “Short Breaks Service Statement“.
