We have donated some Easter eggs, which Simply Cycling will hide in and around the venue. Search for the plastic eggs, let staff know, and receive your special prize!
The sessions are FREE for Manchester’s SEND families and will include free refreshments and snacks. No need to book, just turn up.

Billy & Andy’s Music School
Andy and Billy run Holiday Music Clubs geared to young people with SEND. The 2022 programme is at Gorse Hill Studios in Stretford. All sessions start at 10am and finish at 1pm, with chance for a short break in the middle.

- May Half Term: Monday 30th May – Friday 4th June (Not 2nd & 3rd June, it’s the Queen’s Jubilee!)

Changemakers Open Day
Manchester’s young people aged 12-15 are invited to a Changemakers Open Day with Xbox and retro gaming, pizza, and crafts. It’s on Tuesday 12th April, 11:30am-2pm at the Green Fish Resource Centre, Oldham Street, Manchester M4 1LE. Find out how to have a SEND voice in the city while making new friends and having fun!

Odd Arts Creative Workshops
On 14th April 10am-12:30pm and 1:30-4pm, Odd Arts will be running FREE creative workshops at the Moss Side Powerhouse dance studio. The sessions are exclusive for children and young people with additional needs.
- Use games, interaction, creativity and communication to have fun and build confidence.
- Workshops will consider emotional and physical abilities of participants and provide a variety of exercises, options and extensions through verbal, non-verbal, physical, and expressive exercises.
- Sessions will use props and music.

SEMH Bike Programme with MancCycles and GMYN
MancCycles and Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) are offering an exciting opportunity for Manchester young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to take part in a weekly cycling project over the spring and summer. Riding sessions are every Saturday 11am-3pm, meeting in Hulme. Bikes, helmets and other safety equipment are provided for cycle routes across Greater Manchester.
There are also bike maintenance sessions at various venues on Wednesdays 4-6pm.

Sensory room at Benchill Community Centre
Manchester’s SEND families have free use of the sensory room at Benchill Community Centre during the Easter holidays.
The room has a waterbed, interactive sound wall, infinity tunnel, bubble tubes, animated projections – and more.
Each slot is for 45 minutes and on the hour, Monday 4th April to Thursday 14th April 10am–7pm. Up to five family/group members can be in the room per session.

Sensory rooms at Redbank House
Manchester’s SEND families have FREE use of the sensory rooms at Redbank House during the Easter holidays.
These sensory rooms have a range of bespoke equipment creating both a calming and interactive atmosphere, where colours flash through the fibre-optic strands along the floor; streams of blue and green simultaneously twinkle through the bubble tubes and the disco ball sparkles – and more. Up to five family/group members can be in the room per session.
Free slots are available at various times during the week, from Monday 4th to Friday 8th April and Monday 11th to Thursday 14th April.
