As part of the Neurodiversity in Education (NiE) project, we will be opening a few training modules for parents and carers, with this first one focusing on “Exploring Neurodiversity“.
With this training, we aim to:
- Increase awareness and understanding of neurodiversity
- Talk about how schools can promote inclusivity
- Challenge myths and misconceptions
- Empower parent-carers
- Explain the legal frameworks that apply to neurodiversity
Who is this training for?
We will first offer tickets to parents and carers whose child/ young person goes to one of the schools signed up for the NiE project:

- Brookburn Primary School
- Charlestown Community Primary School
- Co-Op Academy Manchester
- Christ the King RC Primary School
- Didsbury High School
- Levenshulme High School
- Manchester Communication Academy

- Southern Cross
- St. Matthew’s RC High School
- Trinity CoE High School
If your child doesn’t go to one of these schools, please follow us on social media to receive updates when tickets are opened for non-NiE schools.

- This workshop is for parents and carers only. Please do not bring children to the session.
