Join us at Greater Manchester Police Museum (GMP Museum) for a relaxed interactive & creative session exclusively for families of deaf, disabled and neurodivergent children and young people living in the city of Manchester!

Children will explore the different areas of the museum including an interactive tour of the cells and court room where they will get to look at various artefacts. There will also be an opportunity to have fun with arts and crafts and take something away to remember your day!

Siblings without Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) are also welcome to join.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • You will remain responsible for your family’s safety and well-being during the event. Please ensure that your children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the day.
  • While the museum has disabled access and a lift, in the event of a fire, any disabled visitor would need to be able to be carried downstairs due to the age of the building. Please visit https://gmpmuseum.co.uk/visiting/accessibility/ for more information about accessibility at the museum.
