MPCF Coffee Morning @ Martenscroft

Join us on Friday, 10 October 2025, for a coffee morning at Martenscroft Children’s Centre in Hulme.

It’s an opportunity to meet and chat with fellow parents & carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) in a relaxed and friendly setting.

We will be joined this day by fellow parent-carer, Anum, who will be talking about the research that she is doing (together with the University of Lincoln) around family wellbeing and social support for caregivers of autistic children. Make sure to join us for the final 30 minutes if you wish to get involved with this.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
