It’s an early Valentine’s Day here at Manchester Parent Carer Forum!
Being a parent-carer isn’t always easy so we want to send a message of love… for yourself! Self-care is important; it allows us to recharge our batteries and help boost our ability to support our children.
At today’s session, we’ll be doing mindful awareness meditation and gently flowing yoga movements, followed by a nice, long, deep relaxation using bolsters and props. (Please feel free to bring your own blanket for extra comfort!)
It is specially designed to help parents and carers relax, express ourselves and have fun!
The session will include lunch & refreshments, and is free to book for parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) in Manchester.
Our Facilitator
Tammy is a fellow parent-carer who loves arts and crafts, mindfulness and yoga.
She is trained in yoga & yoga nidra, and runs Yoga for All Manchester, including the weekly term-time “Yoga for Parents and Carers” sessions that we used to have.
