We invite Manchester’s SEND families to join MPCF and Dare 2 b Different for an inclusive, family-friendly festive celebration at Moss Side Millenium Powerhouse on Tuesday, 23rd of December, from 12pm!

There will be loads of fun stuff for the kids, including:

• Arts Activities
• Festive Crafts
• Make-your-own reindeer food
• Relaxed screening of a festive-themed movie (title to be announced).

There will be snacks and refreshments aplenty for all to enjoy.

What makes it SEND-Friendly?

Manchester Parent Carer Forum (MPCF) is committed to making the event as welcoming and comfortable as possible. You can expect:

• This event is exclusive to families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) aged 0 – 25 years.
• Peace of Mind – All MPCF staff and volunteers have lived experience of SEND so you can rest assured that there will be a level of empathy and understanding with any needs or quirks that may arise on the day. Please speak to a member of the team if you have a request to make for a better experience.
• A Quieter Experience – We will reduce the volume of music and/or the film, if needed. We will also keep some of lights on at the cinema room if required.
• Step-free Access – Wheelchair and buggy users can use the centre’s lift to get to our upstairs events space.
• Wider Arrival Window – No need to rush and bustle. Whether you are coming late or have to leave early, it’s okay with us.
