DFN Project SEARCH is a transition to work programme committed to transforming the lives of young adults with a learning disability, autism or both.

They partner with organisations across the public, private, and voluntary sectors to create supported employment internships for young people in their last year of education, helping them to take positive first steps into the world of work.

Here in Manchester, they work with our local area on Internships Work, a new project that aims to double the current supported internship provision in England by 2025. The programme is designed to support more young people with additional needs to have greater choice and control over their future, opening up opportunities that prepare them for adult life and independent living.
