The SPACE Group are holding a FREE family event this half-term break, for families of people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities)!
They have booked Simply Cycling at Boggart Hole Clough to bring a morning of cycling fun, as well as picnic and games, this Saturday, 4 June 2022. With Simply Cycling, children and adults of all abilities will be able to have a go at cycling, as they have a number of different types of bikes, trikes and quads that can suit different types of needs.
With good weather, they will also set up an arts station where Manchester Parent Champions can facilitate children who wish to join the Our Year Christmas Lights Design Competition.
About the SPACE Group
The SPACE (Supporting Parents And Carers Endeavour) Group aims to offer a unique support group for parents/carers of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) – a group with a difference.
They run support group sessions at St George’s Community Centre, fortnightly on Fridays at 11am-1pm.
They also have a private Facebook group, which you can request to join by answering the membership questions on the group’s page.
