We recently hosted two focus group sessions for Manchester City Council’s post-16 commissioning team to listen to the views of parents and carers around post-16 education and training, including their journey beyond college: Preparing for Adulthood.

We are very grateful to all the parents who got involved at the sessions, and it was interesting and extremely helpful to hear the various views and aspirations that we have for our children.

We would like to hear from even more parents and carers, which is why we’re publishing as a survey containing the questions that were asked at the focus group. Please help us improve the breadth and quality of post-16 provision for Manchester’s young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) by answering this survey below.
