Digital Advantage, who for the past few years have been delivering their Digital Inc. programme to young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), recently shared with us information about their Digital Independent Specialist College’s (DISC) full and part-time supported internship offer.

The full-time supported internship will be delivered in partnership with SENDCode and is open to young people aged 16 to 25 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The part-time option is open to 19 to 30 year olds with SEND. Both opportunities will be based in Digital Advantage’s Manchester city centre studio.

The internship includes:

  • One year of work experience
  • Real life briefs
  • Careers advice
  • Maths and English lessons
  • SEND-aware employers
  • Interview time
  • Portfolio and freelance work
  • Pastoral care
